Announcement - Next plenary meeting of TC 81, and its working groups to be held in Wuhan,China with remote participation from 2026-10-19 to 2026-10-23

We are pleased to announce that, at the invitation of the National Committee of China and afterconsultation with the chair and the secretariat, the next meeting of TC 81, will be held in Wuhan,China from 2026-10-19 to 2026-10-23.

8月11日，国际电工委员会标准化管理局（IEC SMB）发布公告，Alain Rousseau（阿兰.罗素）全票当选IEC TC81新任主席，任期从2025年12月1日至2031年11月30日。

Alain Rousseau先生从事超过40年的雷电防护技术研究及标准化工作，曾经担任过国际电工委员会IEC SC37A 电涌保护器技术委员会的主席，欧盟标委会CENELEC 37A和 81X主席及法国标委会37A及81的主席。同时也是IEC SC37A WG3，IEC TC81 WG9和WG17的召集人，负责组织SPD的选择应用相关的IEC 61643-X2系列标准，雷击风险评估的IEC 62305-2标准和雷暴预警系统的IEC 62793标准的制修订。(来源：老周说防雷)
